As most of you are aware, last fall we changed core software providers. One of the reasons was that the new software allowed us to offer real time banking. So far we have enabled real time telephone banking, real time teller transactions and real time ATM/Debit card transactions. The move to Real Time Online Banking marks the completion of the transition.
We now have our Real Time Online Banking and new iPay Bill Pay-e Plus product ready. All Internet Banking customers are encouraged to enroll in our new system. Enrollment is as easy as completing an online form and calling the bank for an initial password (You might give us a couple of hours before you call to give us time to review your application).
The new Bill Payment system will be through a company called iPay Technologies. Bill Pay users may begin converting to the new Bill Pay-e Plus anytime. Please feel free to visit iPay's website to learn more about the features this company will be able to offer.
Our Real Time Banking system will offer several enhancements over FundsXpress. Some of them are:
- Real Time Access - Transactions completed at the teller line, in our telephone banking or at the ATM machine are immediately viewable online.
- Images of Deposits will now be available online.
- We will now offer Quicken WebConnect downloads for the newer versions of Quicken and Quickbooks.
- Statements with images in PDF file format can be downloaded or printed.
- The Online Banking system is fully integrated with our core system.
- There is still no charge for either Online Banking or Bill Payment.
Bill Pay-e Plus Features and Enhancements: - Same one-time and recurring bill payment modes as before.
- Email payments to individuals
- Transfers to accounts at other institutions
- Gift payments with cards for special occasions.
- Direct technical support with iPay via toll free phone number and online chat
Important: All Internet Banking and Bill Pay customers must be converted to the new system by August 4th, 2009 as the FundsXpress Internet Banking access will no longer be availabe after that time.
